Job description
- Responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting and data entry;
- Timely and accurate preparation and posting of intercompany transactions;
- Prepare and post entries into the accounting system;
- Perform due diligence on odd transactional activity and cleanup as necessary;
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our financial processes and systems;
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests;
- Perform process reviews and identify opportunities for enhancements of operational efficiency. Develop processes and procedures, as needed;
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of statutory audits, meeting required deadlines;
- Assist with monthly variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts for management review;
- Coordinate with other departments to obtain transaction information, research reconciling items, and resolve issues;
- Prepare the monthly, quarterly, annual fixed assets roll forward reports and schedules;
- Manage the booking of accounting transactions, including supplier invoices, fixed assets and project/ cost centers transactions. Ensure that company accounting policies and the relevant statutory requirements are followed;
- Partner with the Treasury and Reconciliation teams to ensure intercompany profit is booked correctly.
